This is my winter 2023 giveaway! I love nothing more than assembling a group of my favorite goodies and getting to do it while Christmas shopping was such fun. This one is centered around the Danish concept of “hygge” which means “a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being” (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).

If you weren’t around for the last two giveaways, I talked about having a store with my two partners for 10 years, called Posh. I loved to buy for the store and assemble collections, and we had pretty vignettes throughout. We sold gifts, baby, jewelry, furniture, accessories and artwork. We had a design studio and office upstairs with a railing, overlooking the store. It had 18 foot ceilings and the east wall was filled with windows. It was really nice, if I do say so myself.
Like I said in last time, I would like to eventually have 6 Posh Boxes a year, in a subscription format, with bigger items, but I would have to have 1000’s of subscribers to begin that… A girl can dream, right?

This is a lovely Cavallini 1000 piece Aquarium puzzle for those wintry afternoons by the fire. I love their products and their vintage inspired puzzles are beautiful.

I am burning this one as I type! Sydney Hale Co. candles are so great and are made right here in RVA! They are premium soy wax candles with double cotton wicks. So they burn cleaner. They are not as expensive as the pricey brands, but smell just as nice. This one is 14 oz. so it burns 50 hours. It smells of bayleaf, bergamot, sandlewood and smoked cedarwood. The smell of winter.
You know I love this cult fave - Waleda Skin Food ultra rich cream is the best for dry winter skin. Great for elbows and feet and hands. Indulge.
This recycled boucle scarf with blanket stitch edges is the warmest, softest ever. It’s a gorgeous frosty blue, and is sold out. Here it is pictured in red. It’s approximately 24“ x 72”.
This is a 1/2 pint English earthenware mug from the wonderful Emma Bridgewater, with pretty snowdrops on it. I have their toast & marmalade pattern as my everyday china, in black/white and cream/white. I collect their flowers mugs. Love them. Here’s one for you!
THE STAR OF THE SHOW! Dermalogica’s Overnight Repair Serum! This fabulous smelling peptide serum for the face is wonderful, especially in the winter, to revive your skin and give it a little glow. It is very very similar to a much more expensive face oil. You will feel so pampered and will love it.
Barefoot Dreams are the softest products around. These Barefoot in the Wild socks are ultra plush and sure to keep your tootsies comfy cozy.
This is a fun quick read - great for a winter getaway or a snowy afternoon read. I just finished it in three days on my trip last week! Fun!
