Well, I missed Black Friday here on the blog, due to too much Thanksgiving prep, family goings on and Christmas tree procurement. I missed Small Business Saturday completely. I was in my bathrobe and slippers, eating pie and making my Christmas list.

I told myself it was ok, since you were getting 3,982,748 posts from all the other responsible bloggers, with their Black Friday sale lists and Gift Idea Posts. Plus, isn’t Black Friday now the same thing as Cyber Monday? Yes, indeed.

I did get dressed to go get our tree. Can we talk? The price of Fraser Firs was TWICE what it was last year. I’m not exaggerating. Insanity.

I just think these are beautiful coupe glasses - such a nice shape. The set is from Pottery Barn. A pretty gift.

I may have mentioned this before when I first saw it on Cindy Hattersley’s blog. This top would be great for three seasons, when you don’t want your arms showing. But it is also great for the holidays with a dressy black bottom!

I don’t usually like 70’s looks, since we wore them the first time around, but I think these are fun. And under 3” heels!

Ok hear me out! I think this is so pretty. It’s a sheer cape that you could put over almost anything and dress it up. I would wear it over a white blouse and black bottom. I would NOT, however, wear it over a lace catsuit. Just sayin.

Beautiful note cards, based on a series of roses photos from Jamie Beck, who wrote the book listed above. She is a photographer, that did the most gorgeous series of stills during the Covid lockdown in France in 2020. A nice gift for the woman who has everything.
