My Fab 50...Whitney English

What is my Fab 50? It’s a series of People, Places and Things that have inspired or enabled me to thrive in this life I am navigating.

Whitney’s tagline is Mindful Tools for a Meaningful Life. And that’s exactly what she makes. Whitney is a business consultant, interior designer, planner and author. She is into all sorts of stuff. But what I know her and love her for, is her planners and organizational products. I never met an office supply or organizational item that I didn’t like, but hers are my favorites.

Whitney calls herself a “serial entrepreneur”, having had over a dozen companies from the age of 22 on. I first became aware of her, around 2008 or so, when I found her stationery line at market, when shopping for my store. She had a great line of personalized notecards and notepads and even candles. We carried the line in the store for several years. She then moved on to developing her very well-known and best selling line of planners, going live in 2012 - Day Designer. Their flagship item was the Daily Planner. It actually has a calendar, plus a page a day for the year, to write everything and anything in. And blank pages in the back for whatever notes you wanted to add. I used that product daily for 6 -7 years. But I’m an insane list maker, so I never had enough pages.

After selling that company, Whitney started another planner company that went live in 2020 called Whitney English Collections and debuted her new flagship item - the Week On One Page Planner. I instantly loved it and have been using that since. It has tons of blank pages in the back for all my lists and reminders and notes. The covers wear really well and are easy to wipe clean. There’s a pocket in it for more stuff. And it’s just set up really well.

She also has another product that I love - sticky notepads. I love the Day On One Page and the Weekly Meal Plan, among others. Additionally she has a Daily Wellness Tracker, several different Medical Organizers, (both designed with help from an RN) , a HEART goals system, a Binder system and many accessories and cute pouches.

Oh yeah, and she’s writing a book and renovating an older home, and she has local consignment shop and 3 kids. And a dog.
